WELCOME TO THE SHOW
My name is Steve Owens and I meet a lot of people; sometime in my travels, sometimes in my own home town. Several times (quite by accident), I have stumbled into what I consider to be fascinating stories. So after way too many got away, I decided to start recording them. Some of these conversations will be fascinating ONLY to me. Some will be fascinating to you too. In the end, I guess this podcast is just an excuse for me to get to travel, meet, and talk to more people. So if you are so inclined…
Walk with me, down Fascination Street!
Join me as I sit down with veteran television and stage actor Bill Brochtrup. You might know him from NYPD Blue, you might know him from Major Crimes on TNT, or you might know him because he is probably in that play you saw, that one time, at that one place…. you remember, you were there with that girl… the one with the hair… anyway… Bill and i discuss his television and stage career as well as the wonderful theater company that he is the co-artistic director of: Antaeus on Broadway in Glendale, Ca. I hope you have as much fun listening as I had talking with this great guy.

He also explains why we shouldn’t burn bridges, getting to work with Luke Perry, and G.W. Bailey’s great work with the children’s organization The Sunshine Kids.

I was fortunate enough to get a sit down interview with the lovely Gina Grad from L.A. morning radio; as well as The Adam Carolla Show. We recorded this one in the Adam Carolla Studios shortly before Valentine’s Day, and we talked about her recent exit from L.A. morning radio, her 9-11 experience, and the greatest advice she ever received, (it was from Adam).

A few months ago I was in Las Vegas and saw an article in the local paper about a guy who started an Indie record label where he ONLY releases Cassette tapes of artists. I stopped what I was doing and immediately reached out to him for an interview… and he politely agreed. Super nice guy, fun interview and there is a GIVEAWAY!
Send me an email at Fascinationstreetpod@gmail.com with the subject “Giveaway” and the first 5 people will get either a cassette or a vinyl 45 sent to them by me, for free, no strings.
