My name is Steve Owens and I meet a lot of people; sometime in my travels, sometimes in my own home town. Several times (quite by accident), I have stumbled into what I consider to be fascinating stories. So after way too many got away, I decided to start recording them. Some of these conversations will be fascinating ONLY to me. Some will be fascinating to you too. In the end, I guess this podcast is just an excuse for me to get to travel, meet, and talk to more people. So if you are so inclined…

In this episode, we talk about those things as well as her fantastic new (ish) podcast: Commercial Grade, where she talks with industry insiders and answers those nagging questions like: ‘how much do insurance companies spend on advertising’, ‘who does the voice for that commercial I just saw’, and of course, ‘why in the hell would they do that in an ad?’ Christie also shares the story of Bryan’s diagnosis from HER perspective. Some really great insight, and some never before told stories…. so ENJOY!

In this episode we chat about how Vincent got into podcasts and eventually into podcasting. We also talk about what drew him to the true crime genre, and why he chose to focus on unsolved cases in The Lone Star State. This is an amazingly well put together show with interviews and insight from some of the players involved in each case; including interviews from the victims’ families, friends, and even officers and agents that worked these cases. I’m not sure how they get such access….. but they do!
