Take a walk with me down Fascination Street as I get to know Aalics Bronson. Aalics is a bass player, tour manager, guitar & bass tech, and a really nice guy. I caught up with Aalics when he was in Dresden, Germany on tour with The Jean Marx Express. In this episode we chat about how Aalics got into music, some of the bands he has worked with including: Living Color, 24/7 Spyz, and the incomparable Miss Lauren Hill. We also chat about how touring in Europe (and beyond) is different than touring in the U.S., plus Aalics tells some really cool stories about being a working musician for decades! Aalics does let me play a Jean Marx Express song in this episode, so Enjoy! (Special shout out to the host of The Bar Star podcast, Steven O’Reilly for setting this up.) Thanks Steven!
Take a walk with me down Fascination Street as I get to know Reyne “Mugzy” Brady. Reyne is an actor and hip hop artist in Sydney, Australia. In this episode we chat about growing up in Australia, getting into hip hop and rap, what he loves about the culture, and about some of his acting projects. Take a walk down Fascination Street with me as I get to know Emma Faye Rudkin. Besides being named San Antonio’s Woman Of The Year for 2018’s 40 under 40; Emma is also a council member on the committee for People With Disabilities at the Office of Texas Governor Greg Abbott. Also Emma lets me play one of her beautiful songs!
Did I forget to mention that she is deaf? I didn’t forget, its just not in the top 5 things that make this young lady so remarkable.
This episode is with actor, musician and arguably the most supportive husband on the planet; Kirk Bovill. We first heard about Kirk from his lovely wife Joni Bovill, (actress, singer, and daughter of a sharecropper). Plus Kirk lets me play a song written and performed by both Kirk and Joni Bovill called: There Is Joy.
You all remember my interview with the drummer and podcaster Steven O’Reilly; of The Bar Star Podcast. Well, through his show, he introduced me to a wonderfully talented musician named Angie Aparo. I was so impressed with Angie’s music and Angie’s story, that I reached out and asked for an interview. This is my interview with Angie Aparo. Angie is a celebrated and very well respected musician who has had hit some songs and has had his songs covered by some of the biggest names in music. In this episode we talk about Angie getting started in the music business, getting signed on the spot by Clive Davis, Angie’s sudden stroke and subsequent rehabilitation; which includes A LOT of help from Siri! Angie also lets me play 2 songs! Enjoy!!

In this episode Morgan tells us why she became a therapist, some of the benefits of being a registered Cherokee Native. She also plays a couple of songs LIVE “in studio”. I have been blessed by being allowed to play ALOT of my previous guests music on this show; but this is THE FIRST live performance. You will greatly enjoy these tunes, and this young lady!
In this episode, I get to talk with the rarest of the rare: THE DAUGHTER OF A SHARECROPPER! I had the opportunity to speak with the lovely Joni Bovill. Joni has a GREAT story. We also talk about her roles on Bosch, How To Get Away With Murder, as well as her singing career, and her forthcoming book! Joni also lets me play one of her beautiful songs (that she performs with her husband).
